Newts

I got a pair of newts! I wanted some new fish, so when I went to the aquarium store (there's a wonderful one in town- the owner is just the nicest guy, and really cares about the animals), I asked the owner what kind of fish would do well in a small tank like mine. He mentioned a few, like a beta (or a few, with separators), guppies, and minnows, but he also mentioned newts.

I sort of hemmed and hawed all indecisive-like for a while, but eventually I decided to get this pair of little fire-bellied newts. They seem pretty happy in their new home, and they're darned quite little guys. Now they just need names!

It's slightly possible that they're technically against the rules- but they're at least semi-aquatic, and none of my suite mates are likely to complain (they all thought I should get these guys instead of guppies), so I don't think the RA will mind.
