Species: Fossa, Cryptoprocta ferox

Occupation: scavenger, trader
Karay was born in a colony of fossa but even at a young age he was very restless and eventually he left the colony to strike it out on his own. He spends most of his time in pipes and tunnels, and when he does venture outside of the pipes he prefers high-up places. He is extremely anxious.
When he's not hunting or scavenging for food he scavenges for useful things, which he stockpiles in a cave, the location of which he is very secretive about. He is especially protective of his personal treasures, and keeps those small enough to carry in the pouch on his harness at all times. The rest of the things he finds he trades for anything he needs but can't get on his own.
As a general rule Karay is not very forthcoming with information, and relatively few know he exists. Even fewer know his real name; most call him "two notch" or just "notch," in reference to the matching notches in his ears. Some call him "crazy eyes" behind his back (because his anxiousness is most visible in his usually wide, slightly wild eyes), but those who value their status as his customer know better than to call him that to his face. He has a reputation among a select few as someone who has or can find some of the best things, as he's willing to go farther than most to get the things he wants.
Appearance-wise, Karay is scruffy, dirty, and ill-kept; he takes much better care of his stuff than he ever has of himself. Nevertheless he is somewhat vain, and if you want to get places with him your best bet is to compliment his tail, which he is oddly proud of.

Karay has such a wonderful design! I particularly love how you've designed his harness and carry pouch. And I have to admit, the part about his nicknames made me smile.
