X-Men: Kitty Pryde by Animus-Panthera X-Men: Kitty Pryde by Animus-Panthera
Kitty Pryde, a.k.a. Shadowcat, as debuted at Sakura-Con 2010. Made sort of last minute as a companion to my roommate ~TreeWolf's Mystique costume. Both are comic book versions, not movie versions, thank you. ^_^

There are a bunch of things I'm unhappy with on this costume, and I've decided I'm not too fond of spandex, but overall I think it went over well. The belt was made last-minute and is kind of sloppy, and I really wish I could find some yellow gloves (and boots). I'm also thinking that maybe next time (since it seems I won't be selling this just yet) I'll try and find a Lockheed plushie...

Also, I just realized that Mystique fights with a gun and both Wolverine and Shadowcat can't be shot... 0_o

Wow :D awesome! Did you make the whole thing out of spandex or is the yellow another fabric?

For last minute it sure did turn out great :D and even though you couldn't get the right boots or gloves you made really good choices in what you did use.

Thank you very much! ^_^ It's all a spandex blend- I really ought to remake it in pure spandex, because it's a little stiff to move in.

Wow thanks for the quick reply! And good to note about the stiffness...I hadn't even thought about how flexible or easy to move in, my next costume is going to be...oops.

A lot of my costumes aren't terribly maneuverable, for various reasons. Are you planning on making a body suit? If you use a 100% spandex blend, it should be fairly comfortable.

Yeah, I might need a body suit(I have 2-3 costumes in mind not 100% decided yet...T_T). Thanks for the tip :D I'll be sure to keep that in mind when fabric shopping. Is it 4-way stretch?

4 way stretch is definitely best, yup.
