Apparently my modus operandi is becoming, "disappear for a while, show up long enough to dump a bunch of deviations, then disappear again." Whoops! Anyway, I just recently got back from Katsucon. I've got pictures of two costumes on their way - a Magic Knights variant (naturally), plus Red River. I also wore Rosette Christopher from Chrno Crusade, but unfortunately I didn't get any photos of that costume. Next year!

Ha ha woah, so, it's been a really long time since I've been even remotely active here on dA. Sorry about that! For a while there I was really struggling at my old job, but I got a new job (which is awesome) and moved to Texas, and then almost immediately had my life taken over by Losing Altitude orders. (PRO TIP if you can, use a fulfillment service!) Anyway it's been rough. My living room is currently overrun with books and packing materials and packages waiting to be mailed.

ANYWAYS. I had been a little overwhelmed by dA lately but I'm going to try and at least sort of keep up around here. I know that a lot of you follow me mainly either for my cosplay and crafting, or for Losing Altitude. For Losing Altitude updates, the best place to follow is the Kickstarter page (see the link, above). Hopefully I will be getting a website together one of these days, too. As for cosplay, well...

Lately I've found that being an adult makes cosplay sadly rather difficult. Especially as I have a very physically demanding job, I rarely feel up to crafting after work, leaving me mainly with my "weekends." And, since I'm almost never able to run errands after work, I end up spending my weekends running around getting things done (and, lately, going to the post office and mailing out books!). But never fear! I think that as I get more settled I will find myself with more free time, and I still have plenty of plans. Going forward:

Here is my “cosplay schedule” for the next couple of years… Probably I won’t add anything major, but I’d definitely consider adding some quick and easy cosplays if someone was interested.

Right now: finish up Kikuka-chan’s jewelry and some accessories for roseofbattle, finish up non-cosplay projects (baby quilt, coat)

After that, I don’t really have any more cons planned until Katsucon, so here’s my plan:

-Work on some stuff for Katsu (re-do Chizeta!Umi, finish Hadi, maybe do a CLAMP no Kiseki piece if that group is still a thing)
-Work on Amira

After Katsu, my next con will probably be Colossalcon East:

-Swimsuit!Umi and redo Sailor!Umi
-Fix up Graduation!Tomoyo

I seriously doubt I could have Amira done for that event, but we’ll see!

After that, I’ll focus exclusively on finishing Amira, maybe for debut at Katsu 2018? Once Amira’s done there are a few “major project” costumes I’m seriously considering:

-FMA uniform (Hawkeye and/or Brigadier General Armstrong)
-This version of Umi, plus this gown

I'm also still taking some "mini commissions" if anyone is looking for something small!

I’ve decided to keep a running slot open for tiny commissions! A tiny commission is basically something I can finish really quick. I’ll have one slot open at a time, and it’ll reopen as soon as I’ve finished one tiny commission. A few examples of things I can do quickly:

-Simple jewelry (wire work, mainly)
-Simple plushes (especially felt and flat plushies)
-Digital or traditional spot illustrations (Simple or no background, digital (incl. simple animations), gouache, marker, or colored pencil)
-ACEOs (I’ll also accept trades for ACEOs only!)
-I am absolutely willing to consider other things- please take a look at my gallery if you’d like to see some more examples of my work.

I reserve the right to refuse any commission.

Pricing is based on media, size, and difficulty of piece. I ask that you pay half before I begin working, and your piece will be shipped only after I have received full payment. At the moment I can take PayPal, credit cards (via Etsy), and money orders or checks (U.S. only for money orders and checks, please).

You may cancel a commission if you like. However, the latest you can cancel a traditional commission is once I send you a final sketch. Once you have approved this, you are obligated to pay for your commission. You cannot cancel an artisan craft commission after I have begun work*. If I bought any materials before you canceled, I ask that you either buy them from me or pay for them.

(*I may make exceptions for items that can be sold to individuals other than yourself. For instance, you cannot cancel a piece featuring a character that you own, but if it were something more generic (a piece of jewelry not holding significant personal meaning, a generic animal plushie, etc.) then you may cancel so long as you give me the right to sell the item when completed.)

I can do humans, anthro, animals, mythical creatures, whatever. I will do cartoon or realistic, whichever you prefer. However, please note that I tend to do better with realism on animals and anthro, and a realistic picture will most likely not be inked. (Anything I ink tends to turn out cartoony.)

I have no problems with tasteful, artistic nudity. However, I will not do anything explicit. Please keep this in mind. I’m also fine with any pairings that make you happy, but again, I will not draw anything explicit.
